Deshbandhu College Evening is under the umbrella of Delhi University

Deshbandhu College was established in 1952 by the Ministry of Rehabilitation, Government of India, in the memory of Late Lala Deshbandhu Gupta , a patriot who had dedicated his life to the national freedom struggle.It became a constituent college of the University of Delhi in 1958. Originally run by the Ministry of Education as a men's college, it has been maintained by the University of Delhi since 1972. In 1994 it opened its doors to women students too.. Since it is one the affiliated colleges and under jurisdiction of Delhi University norms, rules and regulations, The College is supposed to follow all the rules and norms of Delhi University. It is within the range of Delhi University South Campus. Especially, Examination system has been totally administrated by the Controller of University. Mostly, all administrative jobs are being performed by the circular of EC/AC of Delhi University.Delhi University has its prime website which gives all the latest information.
