Commerce orientation today,18 July2009

An Orientation programme for all first year students of commerce has been organized on 18-7-09 (Saturday) at 4.30 pm in the Boys Common room of our College. Prof. Y.P.Singh of Commerce Department, Delhi University has consented to be the Chief guest of the function. It will also be marked by official launch of our website by the Principal Dr.S.P.Aggarwal.Students are cordially invited to participate in the programme (Info.Sent by Prof.T.K Mishra).

The college welcomes all the students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the college to a fresh and fruitful new session 2009-10 and has asked for their warm cooperation

*the principal Dr. S.P. Agarwal announced happily about the commencement of a  new website of the college www.deshbandhuevening.com annual admissions process is  successfully completed with the earnest co operation of the teachers and non teaching staff. the principal Dr .S.P. Agarwal conveyed his  thanks  to all the teachers and staff, associated with the admission process and make it  successful without any hassle.

The college starts its activities including studies from 1.35 pm office working hours to be followed from 11.00 am t0 7.30 pm , students dealing is scheduled from 11.30 am to 7.00 p.m.

The college is all set to commence its first day i.e.  July 16, 2009. Orientation programmes have been organized on the day of reopening. The principal and other department’s heads would join the in aural session of orientation programmes for the fresher’s at the library hall.

The college has taken all possible measures to fight out any sorts of ‘ragging’ as per the direction of university of Delhi and UGC directives.

College discipline committee has been doing hard to stop any kind of menace in college during new session.

Policing has been done at the request of the authorities.*the principal and the convener, discipline committee, participated at a meeting with police authority of hauzkhas zone and kalkaji zone, to keep the college campus disturbance free.

Any complaints relating to harassment to the fresher’s can be lodged with the police emergency email: helpline@antiragging.net and to the phone number 1800-180-552 and also can be called up no.100 and for women help line number 1091, 23317004.

Fresher’s can report direct to the convener, discipline committee of the college or direct email to commissioner of police at: ys.dadwal@nic.in.

The principal Dr. Agarwal appeals for wide cooperation to both teachers and students for keeping the college ragging free.

The ‘fresher’s welcome day’ to be observed at an earliest.

Students are asked to bring their identity cards along with themselves.
