
Students are awarded academic, cultural and sports prizes on the Annual Day. Special prizes are given to students who secure University
level positions. Outstanding sportspersons are awarded the college colour. The following scholarships are given :-
Shri Baldev Krishan Shastri Scholarship
This is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the I or II year B.A. (Hindi) Honours examination.
Teacher's Memorial Scholarship
This is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the I or II year B.A. (English) Honours examination.
Shri N.K. Mansukhani Memorial
Scholarship
This is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the I or II year B.A. (Political Science) Honours examination.
Shri Sudesh Kumar Sharma Memorial Scholarship
This is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the I or II year B.A. (Programme) examination.
P.K. Grover Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the student who secures the highest marks in the I or II year B.Com (Honours) examination.
Krishan Kalyankari Memorial Scholarship
This Scholarship is awarded to the Student who secures the highest marks in the I or II year B.Com. examination.
S.K. Chopra Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the student of B.Com (Honours) who secures the highest marks in the B.Com (Hons) I or II year examinations in Business Statistics and
Business Mathematics.
Kamla Kishori Memorial Scholarship
This Scholarship in awarded to the girl student who secures the highest marks in the college, in the I or II year examination, with an aggregate of at least 50% .
Shri P.K. Kaul Memorial Scholarships
Two scholarships are to be awarded to the best girl student and best boy student, respectively, based on academic performance as well as extra-curricular activities.
Smt. & Shri Kapoor Chand Jain Memorial
Scholarship
This is to be awarded to the best student in the Commerce Department, based on academic performance and extra-curricular activities
SCHOLARSHIPS TO SC/ST STUDENTS
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes are awarded scholarships by the states to which they belong. Such students are advised to obtain
application forms from the Office immediately after their admission and submit the same, duly completed, along with the required certificates, on or before the
notified last date of submission. Any claim, for scholarship, of students who do not submit their
applications in time will not be entertained.
The continuance of any scholarship, grant or other
privileges depends on the satisfactory academic progress, regular attendance, discipline and good conduct of the student. Every stipend holder has to abide by the college rules and regulations.
STUDENT'S AID FUND
With the help of UGC, the college has set up the Student's Aid Fund to render financial assistance to needy students. No scholarship or stipend is given out
of this grant. Students receiving this aid may use it for paying their tuition fee or examination fee or for buying books, clothing or medicines.
